How Bowral Capital Operates
Bowral Capital operates as a privately-held mortgage manager, facilitating lending between private investors and carefully selected borrowers. Brindabella Investment Group Pty Ltd acts as Trustee under AFSL 510735 and holds legal title to Fund assets. All related-party arrangements between Bowral Capital and Brindabella entities are managed under ASIC Regulatory Guide 181 and subject to annual independent compliance review. Our governance structure ensures appropriate oversight, compliance, and protection of client interests.
Bowral Capital Pty Ltd and Brindabella Investment Group Pty Ltd are related entities. All transactions between these entities are conducted on arm’s length commercial terms and subject to the Trustee’s conflict management policy and annual independent compliance review. Where Bowral Capital engages related parties for legal, administrative, or operational services, these arrangements are disclosed and managed in accordance with ASIC Regulatory Guide 181 and the Fund’s governance framework.
Lending Decisions: All loans are assessed and approved by Paul Reese, with independent valuation and legal review for security adequacy and documentation quality.
Investor Protection: Each investment is secured by registered first or second mortgage over Australian property, with comprehensive loan documentation and ongoing monitoring throughout the loan term.
Compliance: We maintain appropriate professional indemnity insurance, follow best practice for loan documentation and security management, and ensure transparent disclosure of terms and risks to all parties.
Record Keeping: Complete records are maintained for all lending and investment activities, with regular reporting to investors and compliance with all relevant regulatory obligations.
